Solstice Subdivision is Caney Lake's only gated subdivision. An electronic gate, capable of being controlled from each residence, or by inputting the code at the gate, guards the entry point to Solstice. The gate area is landscaped with flower beds and a U. S. Flag and houses the central mail facility. A beautiful white wooden fence frames Northstar Lane as you enter the subdivision.
Minimum 2500 HSF homes of unique design (no repetition of designs) is required. No Mobile Homes or metal buildings allowed; all construction shall be stick-built. All outbuildings shall be approved by the Design Committee and be of the same material as the home. Set back rules are in effect to preserve views.
Natural Beauty of the subdivision will be maintained and harmonious color schemes will be utilized. Underground Utilities are installed throughout the community.
Homes will be situated so that the maximum amount of view will be available to each home, with regard to the topography, common facilities, large trees, and other homes being taken into consideration.
Architectural Design & Review Committee consisting of no more than 5 members require approval of all building plans.
Metal Seawalls are included in purchase price of lakefront properties. Boathouses & piers are restricted to one story in height, and cannot be higher than the top of the existing metal seawall.
A convenient boat launch is available for residents of Solstice Subdivision.
